Our Mission
We need to give our children the tools to be able to adapt to new technology culture as it evolves – to adopt a different technology language, enjoy different technology skills and be excited about occupations that don’t even exist today!
COMPUTER EXPLORERS sees its role in preparing children as two-fold:
1. Teach solid technology skills that will give your child a foundation for learning and adapting to future technologies quickly
2. Foster excitement to discover, experiment with, and embrace new technology as it develops
Our Teachers
A teacher who is excited about what he/she is doing is the most important factor in preparing children for a successful future! Who are the teachers who taught YOU the most? We learned best from those teachers whose love of their subject encouraged interaction, experimentation, and lively dialog.
As well as being education specialists, CE teachers have additional training in using technology as a learning tool. From preschool teachers who use the computer to reinforce basic skills in reading, math and science to summer camp instructors who guide their students to build and program robots, their overall attitude is “let’s try it and see what happens!”
Program Benefits
Since we don’t know now what technology skills will be needed in the future, we want our children to say, “Let’s try it and see what happens!” when they encounter new challenges. They need to know how to communicate, be team players and enjoy what they are doing to have a productive and exciting future.
