Teachers
After being specifically trained and technology-certified by the local business owner, COMPUTER EXPLORERS (CE) resource teachers spend time observing and working with other CE teachers before taking over classroom instruction themselves.
Each month the CE teachers attend an in-service meeting to discuss new developments in educational practices, as well as new developments in technology. Hands on demonstrations and lively discussions in the meetings provide equally interactive and lively classroom experiences for the students.
Some teachers, like those shown above, may attend advanced training and certification courses at the corporate office in Texas.
Alice is an integral part of successful technology education here at St. Mary School. She brings an energy to the classroom that engages students of every age and ability. We are thrilled to see her work recognized at the national level, as it affirms what we see every day -- she is an outstanding teacher and a dedicated professional.
