Welcome! Our names are Shylice Nelson and Sheila Denzler. We are the local owners and directors of COMPUTERTOTS and COMPUTER EXPLORERS. In addition to the classes listed on our sites we serve preshools, private schools and public schools near you. Please email or call for more information.

We are proud to service Howard, Baltimore & Anne Arundel Counties with innovative technology instruction and reinforcement of academic skills.

Since 1985, millions of children have benefited from COMPUTERTOTS and COMPUTER EXPLORERS classes offered in childcare centers, preschools, elementary private and public schools, and other educational settings.

• We maintain an impressive presence in the educational community by continuously incorporating age-appropriate curriculum, educational software, state-of-the-art hardware and peripherals into a strong instructional system that meets children’s needs. Highly qualified, specially trained teachers guide children’s learning experiences using lesson plans specifically designed by educational technology experts.
  


• COMPUTERTOTS and COMPUTER EXPLORERS classes are always fun and exciting! Students can’t wait to find out what they’ll learn next and ENJOY doing it! That’s why we GUARANTEE our classes to be educational and engaging.
  


• COMPUTERTOTS classes serve children ages three through kindergarten. We provide young children with the opportunity to increase their computer skills, and at the same time to reinforce the academic readiness and social skills, preparing them for a successful future.
  


• COMPUTER EXPLORERS programs serve students ages 6-adult. Our technology project series with its complete scope and sequence develops students’ key productivity skills while using hands-on experiences. The projects, covering a multiplicity of productivity tools including word processing, databases and spreadsheets, multimedia presentations, internet research and email, equip students for communication in the 21st century.
  


• Our in-service meetings for school staff provide both professional development for the instructors and teaching tips for using the computer as part of the classroom environment. Teachers review basic computer operations and trouble-shooting, learn to integrate the computer into classroom teaching, and to set up ergonomically correct learning centers. CEU’s may be earned.
